Who we are
Shaikh Islamic Academy, an online Quran academy taught from Pakistan. Contact: shaikhislamicacademy56@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you book a demo or contact us, we may collect:
- your name and the student’s age
- your country and preferred class times
- your WhatsApp number and, if you give it, your email
- the course you are interested in and any notes you add
- payment records for fees you pay
Why we use it
- to arrange and confirm your demo and classes
- to match the student with a teacher
- to send class reminders, learning plans and progress notes
- to handle fees and answer your questions
Children
Information about students under 18 should be given by a parent or guardian. We use it only to arrange and teach their classes.
Who we share it with
Your teacher, so they can teach the classes. We use WhatsApp, email and video apps (Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp) to communicate and hold classes, and their own privacy policies apply. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which stores the demo requests you send through the website and protects the site from spam and attacks. We do not sell your information.
Cookies and advertising
Our website works without advertising cookies. If you click Accept on our cookie message, we also use:
- Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the website
- Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), to measure whether our adverts lead to demo requests and to show our adverts to people who may be interested
If you click Reject, none of these are used. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. We also keep small settings in your browser, such as your chosen currency.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you study with us and for a reasonable time afterwards for records and fees, then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing us.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
