Terms of service
The terms for booking demo classes and joining monthly classes with Shaikh Islamic Academy.
Last updated: November 2026
About us
Shaikh Islamic Academy provides one-to-one online Quran classes, taught from Pakistan, for students in the UK, USA and worldwide. Classes include Noorani Qaida, Nazra Quran, Tajweed, Hifz and Tafseer.
Free demo class
The 30-minute demo is free and places you under no obligation. Our founder uses it to check the student’s level and recommend a course and teacher.
Classes
Classes are 30 minutes, one-to-one, held on Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video. You may switch platform later. Lessons are taught in English or Urdu.
Students under 18 should join with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. Parents are welcome to sit in on their child’s class.
Fees and payment
Fees are paid monthly, in advance, at the start of each month, by bank transfer or a secure card payment link. Prices are shown on our pricing page. A second family member receives 10% off.
Cancellation and missed classes
Stopping classes, part-months and missed classes are covered in our cancellation policy.
Conduct
We ask students and teachers to treat each other with respect, join on time and keep a quiet place for lessons. We may end classes with anyone who behaves abusively.
Progress
Every student learns at a different pace. Course lengths on this website are typical times, not guarantees.
Changes to these terms
